@Jens: ja zur ersten Frage, ja, alle Bilder bei mir sind einzeln, da ich ja immer nur mal ein Bild hochlade. Ansonsten kannst du auch alle Bilder per FTP oder auch Massenupload in WordPress hochladen und in den benutzerdef. Feldern ein Feld pflegen, welche für die Übersicht und die Exif-Daten gezogen wird; siehe den älteren Artikel dazu. Aber 20 Bilder sind eigentlich sehr schnell publiziert.

Hallo Frank,

vielen Dank für die Nachricht. Verstehe ich das richtig? Also ich kann nicht eine Kategorie erstellen und da z.B. ca. 20 Bilder auf einmal hochladen (über WP oder FTP) - die dann als Thumbs dargestellt werden und bei Klick vergrößert werden?

Ich habe es sonst noch nicht verstanden, wie ich das machen könnte? Magst Du mir nochmal einen kleinen Tipp geben?

Wenn ich mir Deinen Photolog ansehe, da sind ja wohl echt viele Bilder drin - die hast Du alle einzeln hochgeladen?

@Jens: jein; natürlich kannst du viele Bilder mit einmal hochladen, aber dann gibt es keine Verknüpfung der Bilder zum Post und damit sind die Archiv-Seiten nicht bestückt, dass muss man dann via Custom Field pflegen, was ich aber auch abfrage.

Hallo Frank, ist es tatsächlich so, dass man für jedes Bild einen "Artikel" anlegen muss? Mann kann nicht mehrere bilder in eine Gallerie laden o.ä.? Viele Grüße, Jens

@kevin: this works not with WP 2.8, maybe a big; i willlook for the problem in next time; please wait a little bid for the next update.

@Kerstin:Die Thumbnails werden von WP erstellt, sollten daher auch gleich große sein, hängt von deinen Einstellungen ab. Das CSS für die Fotos findest du in der style.css. Ändere z.b. . Das Widget-Problem muss ich mir anschauen,bekannt ist mir nichts.

Hi there, great theme this, exactly what i was looking for. A question though, i cant manage to see thumbnails when i click on a category link, the archive page is empty. I normally uploaded my pictures an selected a category. Any idea why ? Am using wp 2.8

@Oliver: Das Theme ist so optimiert, dass man eigentlich NextGen nicht benötigt. Aber auch die Zeit zum Einarbeiten in NextGen möchte ich nciht für das Theme opfern, das Theme ist auf anderen Anforderungen entstanden.

das theme sieht sehr gut aus. Ich will es zusammen mit dem NextGen plugin zusammen verwenden, aber die Tags des plugins, welche die Bilder einbinden, funktionnieren in diesem Template nicht....

wäre toll, wenn man das ermöglichen könnte. Ich kenne mich mit PHP recht gut aus, allerdings nicht mit WP-Plugins...

@LM: please use the new version with a lower handling of this problem. The new version is only upload a photo, flag on the catetegory and/or tags and puplish. Please see an on the screencast, only in german. The theme has the same functions with easy customizing of frontend and puplish a post with photo.

Hello again. Sorry for the confusing post I left before. I've been playing around with your theme and I'm starting to understand how to get the photos to show up in the categories. It seems I have to make a post for each photo and then attach that post to the categories I want. And then the photo will show up in the proper category on the sidebar. It seems that consequently the photos start showing up in the archives once I keep doing this. Is this how it's supposed to be done then? http://www.imagevoices.com/thenew/

I love this theme. It looks wonderful. I am trying to set it up for a friend of mine who is a professional photographer. I am having trouble understanding how to place the photos in the categories so that when you click on the "Galleries" section on the sidebar, and click on a specific category, you are taken to a page containing all the photos in that category. I uploaded some photos through wordpress upload and I created the categories. How do I make the photos show up? This is what it looks like right now http://www.imagevoices.com/thenew/ I just don't understand how to show the photos in the category pages. I apologize I don't know German.
