Hallo zusammen,

mit WP-Version 2.9.1 habe ich das Problem, dass die Weiterleitung nicht klappt. Ich habe alle Häckchen bei Dashboard deaktivieren gesetzt und dann die Weiterleitung gesetzt. Aber egal welche Option ich auch wähle, der Abonnent kommt trotzdem zur Profil-Seite aus dem Admin. Was mache ich falsch?

Its possible to create different kinds of users where i let users to create posts but just for the category where i have assigned? or for the sub-pages where i assigned?

i will be creating sub-sites of every country in my web.... so... i will like to create for example, a brazilian class of user admin where he can just edit and create post for the category called "Brazil" and for the pages that are in the Page Called: "Brazil". And this action i will like to do it for many more countries.

@Darwin: I think WPMU has a add of a menu-variable and Adminimize read not this. The next version of WP has include the MU-Functionality and maybe i will write this on this version. Is this enough for you?

Hey, I have been using this plugin on many of my websites. It works fantastic.

But since I installed the latest Adminimize in the latest WordPress Mu installation everything I disable for users or editors or authors etc. are also disappearing from the admin users menu itself.

I do not check the box under admin, but again it's gone in the back-end of administrators.

Is this a known problem? How can I fix this?

Hi Frank.

I didnt know that excerpt doesnt exist on pages in the admin. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I am using the Hybrid theme. When I install it there is an excerpt on pages in the admin.

I'll have to contact Justin Tadlock and ask him.

@masterplumper: Do you have not active the checkbox for hide this area in the posts? Please refresh the browser for clear cache. Dosnt work this, please see on the source of the site and search for "display:none" and see on the IDs and classes, is the same ID in this source how in the options from Adminimize.

Great plugin - just what I am looking for. I have a problem though. The Media Buttons are not available on the New Post page. I have made sure that they are enabled in the options screen but no matter what I do I can't get them to appear. Hope you can help as this plugin is awesome.

@Juan: now you can only forbidden the dashboard and other menu-point with the plugin; when you hide the dashabord, than it is possible redirect to a other site, you can add a own url.

Hi. Your plugin is fantastic! But i am having a trouble.
I have an extension in my site where users can upload posts withouth having to get into the admin panel!. Because of that... what i need is to close the admin panel to all users except the administration... without disabling the posibility to post from the external way that i have made. Is this possible with your plugin?

@Vayo: please, can i have more informations; i dont understand your problem - many thanks. On default WordPress give it excerpt only on posts, not on pages. This is only possible with a plugin. Only then it is possible to hide this metabox on pages.

@Sandra: der Bereich wird nie angefasst, da muss ein Irrtum vorliegen. Einzig die Buttons oberhalb des Editors zur Mediathek lassen sich mit dem Plugin ausblenden.

Ist ein tolles Plugin, iwe die vielen anderen ja auch von Bültge. Aaaabeeer. Nachdem ich das Plugin eingerichtet hatte unter 2.9 und den Blog nun mit inhalten befüllen wollte ist NACH der PlugIn Installation die Funktion Mediathek beim einfügen von Bilder in Artikel nicht mehr vorhanden. Hä? Eben. Genau DAS. Selbst wenn ich das Pop-Up Fenster in einem neuen öffne und den Anhang für Bilder aus der Mediathe anhänge, wird der Tab 2Mediathek" nicht mehr angezeigt Bsp: http://www.meinedomain.de/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=-1264824797&type=image&tab=library Auch dann erscheint nur noch "Vom Computer" und "Von Url" Versucht abe ich schon: PlugIn Einstellungen löschen über die PlugIn eigenen Einstellungen. Plugin deaktivieren. Die CSS Dateinen -global etc- wieder einzusetzen bzw. mit einem lokalen Backup zu überschreiben auch die Upload.php. Die Mediathek funktioniert jedoch nur eben kann ich keine Bilder mehr daraus einfügen, außer natürlich über einen HTML Link. Daher die Frage: Welche Dateien wurden vom Plugin überschrieben? Da der unten markierte Tab auf dem adminimisten gestörten Blog nicht mehr generiert wird. Auch nicht wenn ich ein Update mit wieder einsetzen mache. Hier noch mal ein Quelltext, damit Ihr auch versteht was da eigentlich fehlt - ist wie gesagt nicht einmal im Qell-Text vorhanden,. Vom Computer Von URL Mediathek>

I have noticed that it is not possible to hide excerpt on pages anymore, only posts. Previously it was possible but this feature is removed for some reason. Would it be possible to have it back?

I am using this Version 1.7.6.

Hi.
I have just updated Adminimize today (jan. 14, 2010) as there was a new update when I logged in today. However its throing me an error whan I go to "add page".

The error is on line 883 in adminimize.php.

"Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /Users/vayu/Sites/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/adminimize/adminimize.php on line 883".

I have tested this on 2 different installments of Wordpress that dont have the same other plugins installed. I get the same error on both installments. Just thought would let you know.

Hallo Zusammen,

habe soeben das Update für Adminimize eingespielt und bekomme seitdem folgende Fehlermeldung:

function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /var/www ........................wp-content/plugins/adminimize/adminimize.php on line 883

Dieses Problem bestand wohl schon einmal in einer früheren Version, jedoch wurde hier leider keine Lösung gepostet.

WP Version 2.9

@plin: ich vermute du meinst den Sceenshot von WP Version 2.5? Der ist nicht in 2.7 und größer verfügbar, da bleibt nur ein Plugin wie das von Ozh.

Auch das Layout der Seite (z.B. Erweiterte Einstellungen) sieht ziemlich anders aus als das, was ich ich nach Aktivierung des Plug-ins sehe.

@plin: Das LAyout ändert sich nur in gewissen zügen, im Farbschema "Fixed" bleibt der header und die linke Navi fix und ähnlich sind die anderen Farbschemas, die ein wenig das Design ändern und optimieren, wie man es mag.

ok, und was muss ich tun, um die Navi-Leiste im Header zu haben, so wie auf den Screenshots? Das Ozh AdminDrowDown installieren reicht nicht. Das ist grün und hat eine andere Struktur.
